After dedicating a year and a half to meticulous research, SoftEars proudly unveils the RSV. With its 5 BA drivers, this new model offers comparable reference sound performance to the RS10. Notably, the RSV's driver configuration and crossover network enable it to produce remarkable dynamics even when paired with conventional sources such as smartphones.

OPTIMIZED 3-WAY CROSSOVER FOR ENHANCED PERFORMANCE

The RSV accomplishes this by skillfully combining acoustical filters with complex crossovers, allowing the BA drivers to unleash their full potential while maintaining near-perfect frequency response and linear phase. IMPECCABLE AUDIO PERFORMANCE

Thanks to its advanced acoustical filters and crossovers, the RSV delivers astonishing audio performance. The crossover system consists of a 3rd order LRC filter for bass, an impedance + low pass for the midrange, and a film capacitor for the high frequencies. This comprehensive setup, comprising six components, ensures the signal is properly divided among the five drivers per earpiece.

Moreover, the RSV excels in phase response, surpassing many multi-driver designs available on the market. Its exceptional phase consistency throughout the audible spectrum enables smooth transitions between drivers, resulting in an accurate and immersive soundstage.
