We are Rewind is a brand new company that has been set up by ex-Sony Mobile employees. Their first product is a Bluetooth enabled tape player which can be used to listen to music on cassette tapes. The team behind this new company were inspired by the original Sony Walkman because they wanted something that felt more organic than the modern day digital devices we all use everyday.

We are Rewind is a small but exciting company based in France. They have a passion for music and technology, which makes them the perfect partner for OTIC. We are Rewind was founded in 2017 by two passionate music lovers who wanted to create their own cassette player. The first model was launched on Kickstarter with great success! A second model followed soon after, offering more features and an improved design.

The Cassette Tape Player weighs 5 pounds and has dimensions of 2 x 10 x 8 inches. This device will play music from any audio tape in your collection, whether it’s an original cassette or one you made yourself. It can also be used with record players to play LPs on vinyl records without any modifications or adapters needed!

The Walkman Tape was originally an alternative to the Sony Walkman TPS-L2 with a more 'organic' feel, utilising wood as part of the structure of the devices.

The original cassette player predates even my personal experience with it by about 20 years or so, but it's still incredibly popular among audiophiles who prefer the warm sound of analog tapes over digital formats like CDs and FLAC.

And it has now evolved into an audio system that blends old and new technologies together
